...let me clarify what i said below. i always felt like, since i made the postcard below, i could use the phrase whenever i wanted. if i find it was taken before that, ok, i'll stop. i like dave and shawneenet and what you guys are doing. as far as i'm concerned if it's mine it's yours. and no, i never heard linkin' park, nor cared if they thought of it either. and, if you make it short, i like the a, as you can tell. to me it's land-a-linkin...

more postcards to come...but hey, check out the total link haiku...i invented that too.

these are my slogans for carbondale...."Halfway to Graceland"...(see below)...."Gateway to the Big Muddy Basin"....."Where 13 and 51 Come Together".....
enough, enough...

landolinkin, landalinkin, ok, so everyone's copyrighting the phrase, and some folks are even putting it in their urls (not that i'd ever do such a thing). this postcard (below) though is from 1998. it refers to 1968, of course, not the web, so i can't say i invented the internet here. just thought i'd set the record clear. but no problem, dave, i can share...go ahead and run with it...

lots of things going on. i put another play online, this one about the 1970 bombing of sterling hall at the university of wisconsin at madison. i'm looking for people who were there, who know about it, etc. we did it as a quaker play, wrote and performed it with a group of children; then it was performed again this year and it's under my skin as something to keep working on.

my newest play will cover the following subjects: iraq, mosul, iraqi christians, jonah and the whale, utah. details forthcoming.

am doing more link poetry but have qualms about shamelessly linking to cool pictures which are now easy to find on the web. is a link a violation of copyright, and if so, how? it's an interesting question.

blogs are exploding in our own program; our own students are using them a lot, etc.

and, the '68 Ford is in the shop...ramblin' is restricted at the moment, to walking. more later...
