Hi Tom -
You look very content in the photo.
Say, I wrote to you circa 2013 when you were at CESL (?) because we were in the same Leverett family tree. I commended you for posting the geneaology on-line because I only had an old typed copy from someone. Just found you again, but the Leverett geneaology link in your blog is broken and I can't find it otherwise. I never stopped in to see you when I was in Carbondale for work, my apologies. I retired last month. Can we get in touch again? I don't really know how blogs work but I checked the email for follow-up comments if you would care to touch base. Also, I saw on Linkedin that you wrote a piece on Frank Leverett that I would like to read. Many thanks, CB

Hello CB - I still have your message somewhere I'm sure, as I have saved all old e-mails relating to genealogy, and there's lots to report. If you want that genealogy you can still find it online (look for Erwin Otis and Florence Hodge, Descendants of William Leverett) or if you know your way around the web archive you can find my old page (https://web.archive.org/web/20150325073536/http://mypage.siu.edu/leverett/levgen.html) which is why I never replaced it. In the end I put it in a book and put it on Amazon. I have been doing the same with old family genealogy files and pictures as I see it as my role, partly because I have ten kids and can't just pick one to unload it all on. You cannot stop in on me in Carbondale as I am now in Cloudcroft, New Mexico though I left quite a chunk of my heart there in Carbondale. I do still have my SIU email though (leverett @ siu.edu - no spaces) so feel free to write me. The book on Frank is wild. He's actually my first cousin three times removed. As I market the book and get people to read it I feel an odd sense of kinship with him since he did so much for the family in general. A lot of our information about who we came from comes basically from Frank's tireless research. Cheers! Stay in touch!
