No problem about the comments, Josie. Basically I found a free photo editor that had three interesting functions: 1) "Van Gogh" it; 2) "Picasso" it; and 3) "Watercolor" it. It had a few more too but these were the most interesting. They allowed me to recreate the experience of being there and watching him graduate. He's actually in that crowd somewhere but even now I'm not sure where. There are several people who look like him, especially if you take the wider version of the original picture. But his exact silhouette is not important, since I know he's in there. This being SIUC, I also recognized some faculty, etc. It was more about simply the experience, and having everyone so darn familiar. I love the way the three pictures work together too. They give you an overall sense of what it's like when a verklemppt dad sees his kid graduate after many years.
